After growing up on the farm, Sue graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Home Economics and Communications. She married, and had a 15 year career as an Extension Home Economist. Most recently, she and a partner owned and operated a wholesale specialty bakery.
In the bakery there were repeated requests for baked items with reduced fat and sugar which is why she has created a special “No sugar/Low Fat” recipes to accomodate those with special dietary concerns. As an added bonus, Sue has included her bakery’s secret for eliminating fat from quick breads. Two other recipe categories are: “Cooking On the Run” and “Recipes to Make You Famous”.
